Agriculture is the backbone of India's economy, and its future depends on sustainable practices that balance productivity with environmental responsibility. Chamber India through its initiatives is empowering farmers, agribusinesses, SHGs and FPOs with skills, resources and market linkages to build a resilient and future-ready agricultural sector.

Largest training and certification drive for women farmers of Aspirational Districts started with 200 farmers of Khunti, Jharkhand.

We are working with 1500+ tribal women farmers from Aspirational Districts with the aim of increasing their income by enabling them to take part in agriculture value chain through food processing. To this effort, the Chamber has partnered some of India's top-rated agencies working in the rural development sector.

Recognizing the need to protect the intellectual property rights of farmers, we have constituted a panel of legal experts and industry leaders to support the registration of trademarks and Geographical Indications (GI) for agricultural products. This initiative ensures that farmers receive due recognition and economic benefits for their unique produce.

In a landmark initiative to empower India’s farmers and rural entrepreneurs, on the occasion of India's 76th Republic Day, Chamber India announced no-cost membership and Certificate of Origin for registered Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and Self-Help Groups (SHGs). This initiative aims to bolster the export potential of agricultural and rural products, enabling farmers from across the country to access global markets.
