Participated in the National Independence Day celebrations of Angola

President & CEO of ChamberINDIA Mr. Abhinav Balyan extended greetings to H.E. Mr. Clemente Pedro Francisco Camenha, Ambassador of Angola, on the joyous occasion of the National Independence Day of Angola.

Relations between India and Angola, one of the major oil producers in Africa, are underpinned by a vibrant energy partnership and date back to the pre-independence era of Angola.

India is the 3rd largest trading partner of Angola sharing about 10% of Angola´s external trade, mainly on account of bulk crude oil purchases. The bilateral trade in 2022-23 reached US$ 3.9 billion (upto Feb, 2023), with Indian exports to Angola recording a new high of US$ 575 million.
