Meeting with the Ethiopian Ambassador H.E. Mr. Demeke Atnafu Ambulo

Strengthening bilateral economic ties and exploring new avenues of collaboration between India and Africa, President & CEO of ChamberINDIA Mr. Abhinav Balyan called on H.E. Mr. Demeke Atnafu Ambulo, Ambassador of Ethiopia to India.

India is the second largest trading partner of Ethiopia, accounting for 10.2% of the country's global trade.

The discussions centered around promoting trade, investment and cultural exchange between India and Ethiopia.

Indian companies are among top three foreign investors in Ethiopia. There are about 650 Indian companies in Ethiopia with licensed investment of over $5 billion. They are also the second-largest foreign employers in the country, employing more than 75,000 persons.
