Meeting between CMD of SECI, Ambassador of Ethiopia & President of ChamberINDIA

President and CEO of ChamberINDIA Mr. Abhinav Balyan along with Ambassador of Ethiopia H.E. Demeke Atnafu Ambulo had a valuable meeting with CMD of Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited, Shri R.P. Gupta, at SECI Headquarters, New Delhi.
Ambassador H.E. Demeke Atnafu Ambulo shared a comprehensive overview of energy prospects and opportunities with Shri R.P. Gupta and officers of the SECI, affirming his commitment to collaborate with SECI and Indian companies working in renewable sector.
Mr. Abhinav Balyan presented our membership certificate for SECI to CMD, Shri R.P. Gupta, with the esteemed presence of H.E. Demeke Atnafu Ambulo, Ethiopian Ambassador.
"Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd" (SECI) is a CPSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), set up on 20th Sept, 2011 to facilitate the implementation of National Solar Mission (NSM) and achievement of targets set therein. It is the only CPSU dedicated to the renewable energy sector. It was originally incorporated as a section-25 (not for profit) company under the Companies Act, 1956. In the present outlook of the Renewable Energy sector, SECI has a major role to play in the sector’s development.
The company is one of the nodal agency for implementation of a number of schemes of MNRE. In addition, SECI has ventured into solar project development on turnkey basis for several PSUs/Government departments.
