H.E. Ms. Tahina Rasamoelina, chargé d'affaires of Madagascar at chamber's secretariat

As part of Chamber India's Africa Connect initiative, President Mr. Abhinav Balyan had a meeting with H.E. Tahina Rasamoelina, chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of Madagascar at the chamber's secretariat to discuss potential areas of collaboration between India and Madagascar.

Madagascar is a mineral-rich nation, home to beautiful gems like sapphires and rubies as well as precious metals like gold and silver. Madagascar is a desirable location for agricultural and food processing businesses because of its significant production of vanilla, cloves, and other spices.

The strategic location of Madagascar is another important benefit for business. Madagascar is well situated to serve as a hub for the region's other markets, such as those in East Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, as a member of the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA).
