Greeted Ambassador H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong on Thailand's National Day

President & CEO of ChamberINDIA Mr. Abhinav Balyan extended greetings to H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to India, on the joyous occasion of the National Day of Thailand.
Thailand was one of the first countries to establish diplomatic relations with India in 1947. This rich bond has been further cemented over the years by a vibrant Indian diaspora in Thailand.
Thailand views India as the gateway to South Asia and beyond. As a result of the reduced tariff rates and new initiatives adopted by both countries, trade between the two countries increased manifold in recent years. In 2020, despite the pandemic situation, the trade figures stood at $ 9.76 billion. In 2021, it reached a record high of around $ 15 billion.
