Discussion on economic cooperation & business MoUs with Deputy Chief of Mission of Ukraine

President and CEO of ChamberINDIA Mr. Abhinav Balyan met the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Ukraine Mr. Ivan Konovalov and held discussion on economic cooperation between the two nations. He also informed about the upcoming MoUs between ChamberINDIA and Ukrainian business associations. A draft of the MoU was also shared with the Embassy.
With a population of over 40 million and an area of about 600,000 sq km, Ukraine is one of the largest countries in Europe. India has an extensive bilateral relationship with Ukraine, spanning all spheres of cooperation. Bilateral trade between the two countries has grown significantly in the last 25 years, reaching US $ 3.386 billion in 2021-22. Main items of export from Ukraine to India are agricultural products, metallurgical products, plastics and polymers, etc. while pharmaceuticals, machinery, chemicals, food products, etc. are the major Indian exports to Ukraine.
ChamberINDIA looks forward to working closely the business associations of Ukraine to foster greater trade and cultural connect between India and Ukraine.
